Career Summary As President and COO of MacKenzie Contracting Company, LLC, Martin J. Copsey is responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall management of the company. This includes project management procedures, contract administration, estimating review and control, staffing assignments, financial management and marketing. Marty has over 26 years of construction experience in all facets of the industry. Marty has been involved in both private and public sector work that has varied in size and scope ranging from $10,000 to $20 million. Some of the complex projects he has been involved in have utilized both “fast track” and “design/build” construction methods. Marty’s past experience has included an 11 year duration with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and a combined 12 years experience as the vice president for two medium sized general contracting firms in the Baltimore area. Marty holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Construction Management from Catonsville Community College and attended Johns Hopkins University for Civil Engineering.
