The Challenge
As a result of its rapid growth in market share, for the past 5 years, Provident Bank has engaged MacKenzie to identify and locate numerous office and retail sites in the region.  In addition, the bank needed assistance in the disposition of several bank branch locations which were a result of its purchase of a competing financial institution.

The Solution
MacKenzie assembled a team of specialists in its office, retail and construction divisions to assist in a variety of tasks.  This included overseeing the acquisition of numerous leased spaces in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County, Pennsylvania and Northern Virginia. Select project requirements included the re-negotiation of the bank’s 80,000 square foot operations center in Woodlawn, the acquisition of a training center site, acquisition of mortgage operation space in Baltimore and retail bank spaces in Northern Virginia.  In addition, MacKenzie successfully listed and sold four bank branch locations in the Baltimore area that resulted in an asset recovery in excess of $1,000,000.
