ITT AES Leases Space in the Newly Developed Maryland Science and Technology Center in Bowie, Maryland

BALTIMORE – MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC, (MacKenzie) an independently owned and operated member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance, successfully represented ITT-AES in the lease of 39,524 square feet at the Maryland Science and Technology Center at Melford in Bowie, Maryland.

ITT Advanced Engineering & Sciences (AES) provides leading-edge technology services and products to government, industrial, and commercial customers. Recently ITT AES was awarded the Electromagnetic Spectrum Engineering Services (ESES) Contract to provide comprehensive spectrum engineering support to the Joint Spectrum Center (JSC). The Joint Spectrum Center, a division of DISA, ensures the effective use of the electromagnetic spectrum in support of national security and military objectives.  ITT AES will be hiring approximately 180 employees to work out of their new location in Bowie. 

The Maryland Science and Technology Center, located at MD Routes 50 and 301 in Bowie, MD, is a 466-acre, mixed-use business community that, at final build-out, will contain nearly two million square feet of office, flex/office, and research and development space; approximately 200,000 square feet of retail space; and a full-service conference center and hotel. This project is strategically located between Annapolis, Washington, DC, and Baltimore.  The majority of ITT AES contracts are with defense-related companies in Washington DC and its surrounding suburbs making the Maryland Science and Technology Center a prime location for this ITT AES contract.
