November 13, 2006 MacKenzie Associate Elected to the Board of Rebuilding Together Baltimore BALTIMORE – MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC, (MacKenzie) an independently owned and operated member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance, is pleased to announce John R. Schultz has been appointed to the Board of Rebuilding Together Baltimore. Rebuilding Together Baltimore, formerly known as Christmas in April Baltimore, is a nonprofit, nonsectarian, volunteer organization dedicated to helping low-income homeowners through home renovation and repair. Their goal is to keep people living in warmth, safety, and independence, while helping to build better communities in Baltimore City and Baltimore County, Maryland. Once a year, on the last Saturday in April, skilled and unskilled volunteers alike join together in a unique one-day event reminiscent of the barn-raising tradition of America's past. Since 1990, the year of the first Rebuilding Day, the Baltimore affiliate of Rebuilding Together has organized the work of more than 18,600 volunteers, who have repaired and revitalized more than 925 local homes and completed dozens of community improvement projects. The estimated market value of this work exceeds $5.7 million. President of Rebuilding Together Baltimore, Sara West, stated, “We’re excited to have Mr. Schultz join our Board of Directors.
