L.H. Cranston Moving from Timonium to Hunt Valley

BALTIMORE – MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC, (MacKenzie) an independently owned and operated member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance, successfully represented the Tenant and the Landlord in the lease of 29,000 square feet at 11111 Pepper Road in Hunt Valley.

L.H. Cranston & Sons, Inc., a full-service mechanical and electrical contractor specializing in design/build projects in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area, after 30 years will be moving from 1965 Greenspring Drive in Timonium to 11111 Pepper Road in the Hunt Valley business park commonly referred to as “Schilling Place”.   11111 Pepper Road is located in the Rt. 83 Corridor North submarket in Hunt Valley, near Black & Decker, FX Studios, St. Paul’s Travelers Insurance and Amtote International.  L.H. Cranston will occupy the entire building.  The building is an office/flex building built in 1972 and was completely renovated in 2005; it is owned by 11111 Pepper Road, LLC and managed by MacKenzie Management Corporation.

Norm Hatmaker, President of L.H. Cranston stated “We’ve been in this building (1965 Greenspring Drive) for over 30 years and we’ve simply outgrown the building.  We’re moving to this new building because it will allow us to serve our existing clients as well as gain new ones.  Plus, we’re thrilled that it will have 100 parking spaces because currently we don’t have enough parking for all our employees.”

L.H. Cranston currently occupies 12,000 square feet in Timonium; their move to Hunt Valley is anticipated for June 2007.

Purcell, SIOR, Vice President, with MacKenzie represented the Landlord 11111 Pepper Road, LLC in the lease of 11111 Pepper Road.
