MacKenzie Contracting Announces Recent Promotions

BALTIMORE – MacKenzie Contracting Company, LLC, is pleased to announce the following promotions effective January 1, 2007.

Jeff Cashman has been promoted to a Vice President with MacKenzie Contracting.  Cashman has more than 14 years of construction experience.  During 2006, Cashman worked on projects with George Washington University Outpatient Surgery Center, Greater Chesapeake Orthopedic in Towson, various projects at Johns Hopkins Bayview Campus, and Proteus Technologies in Columbia, Maryland.  In his new role, Cashman will focus on expanding large project opportunities for both healthcare and office renovations.  Cashman resides in Reisterstown, Maryland. 

Dave Riegel has been appointed as a Vice President.  Riegel, who has 18 years of construction experience, will focus on developing project opportunities with existing clients as well as new building construction.  A few of Riegel’s accomplishments include overseeing the construction management of two recently developed Carrollton Bank branches in Bel Air and Cockeysville, overseeing the 130,000 sf United States Naval Academy’s Brigade Sports Complex in Annapolis, Chinese Christian Church of Baltimore’s new building addition, and multiple projects for Ferris Baker Watts offices in Baltimore and Virginia. Riegel currently resides in Sparks, Maryland. 

John Rohde has been appointed to Senior Project Manager.  Rohde has 21 years of construction experience.  With MacKenzie, Rohde has worked with Charlestown Retirement Communities RGN renovation, various projects for Bay National Bank in Lutherville, Lincoln Financial, and the law firm of Sagal, Cassin, Filbert & Quasney, P.A.  Rohde resides in Reisterstown, Maryland. 

All three executives will report to Martin J. Copsey, President/COO of MacKenzie Contracting.
