Euler Hermes
The Challenge
Euler Hermes, formerly a subsidiary of Commercial Credit, was headquartered in Downtown Baltimore for 75 years. Euler had outgrown its space and needed to relocate. Wishing to remain in Downtown Baltimore, Euler soon discovered the only City Center option was a proposed project at Harbor East.
The Solution
After fully negotiating a lease as the lead tenant at Harbor East, it was discovered that the developer did not have approvals, nor could the building be delivered in time. Euler had wisely prepared itself by keeping on a back-up option. Thus, in less than 30 days, a deal was cut as the lead tenant for a headquarters location in Owings Mills.
The MacKenzie team negotiated over $3 million in additional savings for Euler by moving from the City to the Baltimore County location.
