Marketing Assistant

Our collaborative corporate structure and the diverse qualifications of our associates, which include attorneys, CPAs, developers, bankers, appraisers,GIS and marketing professionals, provide a vast array of skill sets to draw from when preparing strategic initiatives for our clients and projects.We are seeking a Marketing Assistant for our downtown Baltimore office that will be responsible for the day‐to‐day marketing and administrative activities for an eight‐person team that is part of MacKenzie’sBrokerage division. A bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, or related field is ideal.  Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office is a must, as well as excellent writing and communications skills, superior organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.  Experience with the Adobe CreativeSuite is a plus.    The ideal candidate is a fast‐thinking problem solver with an excellent work ethic, a positive and outgoing disposition, creative mindset, and has the desire to establish a meaningful relationship with a firm that rewards dedication and loyalty.


Support project and broker specific marketing strategies including:

  • Development and maintenance of marketing collateral including flyers, brochures, proposals, presentations, email campaigns, and direct mail correspondence
  • Listing maintenance – confirm and maintain that all properties are accurately listed on company website and partner sites and collateral information is consistent across all means
  • Database management including gathering and updating information, and management and maintenance of targeted distribution lists for various marketing initiatives
  • Support Marketing Director in the coordination and execution of company marketing and communication initiatives including social media campaigns and events
  • Support MacKenzie’s in‐house research team with general market research and activity tracking
  • General administrative support including, but not limited to, front desk support, typing assignments, the production of marketing collateral including printing, binding, and mailing, troubleshooting equipment/computer issues, manage general office supplies, upkeep of office and common areas, and scheduling meetings


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent years of experience
  • Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Graphic design experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and PhotoShop) a plus
  • Creative mindset
