Marketing & Property Management Assistant

MacKenzie Management Company, LLC, the property management arm of MacKenzie Ventures, delivers full-service property and asset management solutions specializing in the management of office, medical, retail, industrial, mixed-use, and multi-family properties. Drawing on 50 years of experience, our organization currently manages more than 115 projects, comprising over 8.5 million square feet of space throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan area.

We are seeking a Marketing & Property Assistant for a third-party client that will be responsible for the day to day marketing activities for two mixed-use properties located in Baltimore City. A bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, or related field is ideal.  Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office is a must, as well as excellent writing and communications skills, superior organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.  Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.  The ideal candidate is a fast-thinking problem solver with an excellent work ethic, a positive and outgoing disposition, creative mindset, and has the desire to establish a meaningful relationship with a firm that rewards dedication and loyalty.


Support property owner and MacKenzie’s Management division with the following initiatives and activities:

Event Coordination

  • Plan, design, and direct the execution of both small and large public and private events, to include creation of event budgets, oversight of vendors and event staff, maintenance of event sponsorships, and provide necessary training to event staff
  • Organize and implement new events and fundraising efforts with local organizations and charities
  • Fully orchestrate the permit process for events and provide proper documentation to participating vendors of said events
  • Design, coordinate, and quote printing for event and holiday collateral
  • Generate sponsorship packages and pitches
  • Oversee the properties’ social media content calendars provided by marketing partners with additional social media postings while on-site
  • Assist in set-up and tear-down of events

Property Management Assistance

  • Perform monthly inspections of properties
  • Monitor daily security reports
  • Coordinate tenant email blasts
  • Schedule tenant and community meetings as needed
  • Review security footage when requested


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent years of experience
  • Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Graphic design experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Ability to take assigned projects from inception to completion for events and marketing initiatives with little to no supervision or assistance
  • Event planning experience a plus

  • Ability to learn quickly and take on new projects optimistically
