Overview

Bill Hearn is a seasoned property management professional with more than 20 years of industry experience. He has successfully overseen the asset and property management of diverse real estate portfolios, including commercial office buildings, individual owner properties, multifamily communities, and even a 3,000-member water and sewer utility company.

Before joining MacKenzie Management Company, LLC—the full-service property management arm of The MacKenzie Companies—Bill held leadership roles with District Property Management and JLL. His career also began in nonprofit fundraising, where he contributed to organizations such as the Lacrosse Foundation and US Lacrosse.

At MacKenzie, Bill manages day-to-day property operations for a portfolio of commercial office properties across the greater Baltimore metropolitan region. His responsibilities include on-site asset management, tenant relations, and financial reporting. He also continues to oversee four Baltimore-Washington Corridor properties totaling nearly 120,000 square feet that he previously managed, ensuring a seamless transition for tenants and owners alike.

Bill is the son of the late Frederick “Skip” William Hearn, a respected commercial real estate brokerage professional who spent more than 30 years with MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services. Continuing the Hearn family’s legacy, Bill is recognized as a talented, respected leader in the field, valued for his insight, mentorship, and contributions to company-wide asset management initiatives.
