Working from the firm’s Annapolis office, Craig spends the vast majority of his time and energy working on behalf of numerous office, industrial and retail tenants ranging from early growth stage entities and established mid-tier companies to national firms. Craig has a passion for working as an advisor to veteran, women and minority owned companies, negotiating winning transactions for a wide assortment of occupying businesses and nonprofits throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. Ginny Vernick joined the Annapolis office of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services after a 27-year career with Transwestern, where she provided both landlord representation and tenant advisory services. Her clients include a multitude of businesses, associations, insurance companies and property owners throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. Currently Ginny concentrates her efforts on the marketing of retail and special use properties directing marketing, leasing and sales services for landlord/tenant and seller/buyer assignments. Her current listings include shopping centers, pad site opportunities, commercial building and land sales, consulting and development work. Ginny brings her decades-long experience and well-earned reputation as a hard worker and results-oriented agent to the Mackenzie retail team.At the core of her approach, Ginny understands that no two clients are exactly alike. Katy Hayes joined MacKenzie Ventures, LLC in 2004 and, since 2013, has functioned as Marketing Director for the group’s six operating divisions addressing all real estate asset classes and services. In her capacity, Hayes oversees a marketing and administrative team of seven, and is responsible for all corporate marketing, communications, graphic design, and public relations initiatives targeting internal and external audiences and related stakeholders.

Her responsibilities include developing and executing compelling strategies to promote and maintain the corporate brand and messaging, identify market opportunities, and oversee the in-house production of all marketing collateral, presentations, proposals, and advertising materials. Hayes also directs the company’s social media and digital presence, manages MacKenzie’s digital assets including maintaining the corporate website, and plans and executes all special event programming. She works directly with Broker Partners to design and implement targeted sales and leasing programs for specific projects.

Prior to joining MacKenzie, Hayes worked in CBRE’s marketing division. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a Marketing concentration, from Towson University. She is a licensed real estate agent in the State of Maryland.

Gordon joined MacKenzie Retail, LLC in the fall of 2012. As a senior marketing specialist, he designs project-specific marketing collateral, offering memoranda and presentations, and provides general graphic design support to all brokerage specialties and company divisions. This includes providing brokers with trade area and market potential analyses, as well as demographic, psychographic and consumer expenditure studies. Gordon plays a key role in advancing the relationship between Landlords and potential Tenants, creating marketing pieces for MacKenzie’s represented retailers/clients that gives them a competitive advantage over others vying for space. He also supports the Marketing Director in the coordination and execution of company marketing and communication initiatives, assisting in the creation of corporate collateral and contributing to company-wide social media campaigns. Furthermore, he is responsible for tracking, gathering and distributing retail market intel each month as part of MacKenzie’s Retail Recap. In addition, Gordon provides support for the Investment Sales division where he assists with financial analysis, cash flow projections, market research and marketing strategy on property acquisitions and dispositions.

Since 2008, Gordon has been involved in the architecture and real estate industries in various capacities. Prior to joining MacKenzie, he worked at Marshall Craft Associates, an architecture firm in Baltimore, assisting the Contract Administration Department. In 2011, he partnered with JBL Real Estate in Baltimore City and took over the day-to-day marketing of the company’s portfolio, as well as aided in the development of space plans and renderings. Gordon has  collaborated with a number of architects and commercial real estate firms in the past, advancing schematic design and producing construction drawing sets, along with as-builts and various marketing materials.
