Bill Hearn Joins MacKenzie Management Company as Property Manager
Twenty-year industry veteran Bill Hearn has joined MacKenzie Management Company, LLC, the full-service property management arm of The MacKenzie Companies, as Property Manager. Throughout his career he has overseen the asset and property management function for various asset classes including commercial office buildings, individual owner properties, multifamily units, and a 3000-member water and sewer utility company. Hearn previously worked with District Property Management.
In his new role, Hearn will manage the day-to-day property management activities for a portfolio of commercial office properties situated in the greater Baltimore metropolitan region. Specific responsibilities will include on-site asset management activities, tenant relations, and the handling of financial reporting and accounting processes. Hearn will also be overseeing property management for four buildings located in the Baltimore-Washington Corridor area, totaling nearly 120,000 square feet of space, that he previously managed while working for his former company.
Hearn previously worked as a Property Manager at JLL and, prior to entering the commercial real estate industry, functioned as a non-profit fundraising professional including the Lacrosse Foundation and US Lacrosse.
He is the son of the late Frederick “Skip” William Hearn, who worked as a commercial real estate brokerage professional with MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services for more than 30 years.
