Bay Area Community Church is expanding to the Eastern Shore of Maryland with the expected opening of its second location at 155 Sallitt Drive in Stevensville, Maryland on Kent Island on Easter Sunday, April 5. The Annapolis-based church signed a lease with KRM Development for 8,264 square feet of space with Christopher Bennett, Executive Vice President and Principal and Morgan Wimbrow, Vice President of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services representing the tenant in the lease transaction.
Bay Area Community Church was founded in 1987 inside a school in Severna Park and subsequently relocated into its own facility at 884 Chesterfield Road in Annapolis. The church further expanded at the site in 2014 with the addition of a chapel and children’s wing.
Located within the Chesapeake Bay Business Park, 155 Sallitt Drive is a single-story 11,424 square foot building equipped with nine-foot ceiling heights. Also known as The Tilghman Building, the facility fronts MD Route 18 (Love Point Road), is situated directly off MD Route 50, and is less than one mile from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and 12 miles from downtown Annapolis.
