MacKenzie Brokers 10-Acre Harford County Sale

MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC is pleased to announce the sale of 10 acres of land at Harford County’s newest mixed-us development, James Run. The land, which sold for $7.6 million, will be the future home of a 304-unit apartment project. Construction is slated to begin second quarter 2022. MacKenzie Vice President Sean Langford represented the buyer in the transaction.

Situated at the intersection of Route 543 and I-95, the James Run project totals nearly 108 acres. Current activity includes construction of residential units by Ryan Homes, development of a Royal Farms Store that will include gas, and construction of two retail buildings totaling 14,000 square feet. Opportunities remain for up to 42,000 square feet of retail, two pad sites, hotel development, and a 30,000 square foot medical office building.

“This sale is representative of the ongoing interest and demand for multifamily product in our region,” stated Langford. “Interest in the project remains strong proving the project will be an asset to the Harford County community.”
