Maria Burke Interiors, LLC is moving its design studios and five employees to Townside Shopping Center, a 60,000 mixed-use project located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Founded in 2015 by Maria Burke, the firm intends to take occupancy of the new space at 2215 Ivy Road by early fall. Sam Orr and Brian Thomas of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm with regional offices in Charlottesville, represented the tenant in this lease transaction.
Maria Burke Interiors specializes in providing schematic interior design solutions for new-build and renovation projects in the residential sector, as well as interior decorative services. Residential product categories include traditional family homes, countryside cottages, and farms situated in the greater Charlottesville area. The group focuses on all aspects of the design or renovation process including lighting, plumbing, cabinetry design, and interior finish selections.

Townside Shopping Center is a two-story project featuring a mix of corporate office, professional services, retail tenants, and restaurants and adjacent to the University of Virginia.
