MacKenzie Represents 177,000 SF Sale

MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC is pleased to announce the recent sale of 1323 Greenwood Road, a long vacant industrial building totaling 177,000 square feet located in the Baltimore County Northwest submarket. The building was previously home to Connecticut-based printing company, Port City Press, Inc, which closed in early 2018 and was owned by an offshore-based partnership that acquired the property during the roll-up of a number of printing operations.

MacKenzie’s Owen Rouse, Vice President, Investment Sales represented the purchaser in the transaction, Garver Development, who plans to repurpose the facility into branded self-storage.

“The Greenwood Road facility has been in decline for the past several years as a vacant facility and had become a neighborhood eyesore,” stated Rouse. “Garver Development’s experience in both redevelopment and self-storage will be apparent with the product they will deliver.”
